About Our Organization

Maricopa Sandlot, founded by Coach Mike O'Dell in 2015 on the right, is Maricopa's oldest softball club ball team. This organization aims to provide girls from diverse backgrounds with the chance to enjoy and excel in competitive softball. The mission of Maricopa Sandlot is truly one-of-a-kind. Our girls are taught the values of hard work and determination, both on and off the field. During their time with us, they not only grow as softball players but also as individuals. We are dedicated to caring for and supporting these girls as they strive to achieve their goal of playing collegiate softball.

Our competitive teams consist of 12U and 14U, each comprising of 12 players and two substitutes. The girls on these teams are expected to maintain high standards in terms of attendance, respect, attentiveness, understanding, and hard work.
